Octo Browser alternative

Octo Browser alternative: profiles on your disk, the API on every plan

Octo Browser keeps each profile encrypted in its cloud, so it opens on any of your devices. XDLogin keeps each profile in a folder on your own disk. Billed monthly, 100 profiles cost €79 at Octo Browser and $9 here, and 1,000 cost €329 (for 1,200) and $39.

Octo Browser

Where Octo Browser does more

Octo Browser stores profiles encrypted in its cloud, so the same profile is there on every device you use, with no device limit on any plan. It has Windows, macOS and Linux apps, plus Android and iOS apps in open testing; XDLogin has an Android beta, no iOS app, and a macOS app that is still an unsigned beta. The Team and Advanced plans include 3 and 8 team members with roles, and every plan can export profiles to another Octo user. It also sells residential and mobile proxies in its Proxy Shop.

Octo Browser figures are list prices in euros from the Octo Browser pricing page, checked 28 September 2026, before VAT; we don’t convert them. Each is the cheapest plan that holds that many profiles. At 500 that is Team, which includes 350, plus three 50-profile add-ons at €15 each, as the page’s own calculator prices it. The mobile apps are described in Octo’s posts on its Android and iOS apps. If a number is out of date, tell us and we’ll correct it, usually within a day. Product names are their owners’ trademarks.

Moving over

Moving from Octo Browser: the accounts come with you, the profiles don’t

XDLogin can’t import Octo Browser profiles, so each one is rebuilt by hand. Move a few accounts first and see how the sites react. XDLogin has no iPhone or iPad device models, so a profile from Octo’s iOS app has no match here.

1. Recreate the profile

Make one XDLogin profile for each Octo Browser profile you move, pick its device model, and paste the same proxy. A SOCKS proxy has to allow your IP, because Chrome can’t send it a password.

2. Sign in again

Open the new profile and sign in to each account. Your Octo Browser sessions don’t transfer.

3. Expect a check

To each site, the account is now on a different device. Many ask you to confirm the login or verify by email or phone, so do it when you can answer.
